"MIKE & MIKE": 15TH ANNIVERSARY

"Mike & Mike" celebrated its 15th anniversary during its March 6, 2015 episode, and I led the digital execution and promotion of the broadcast. This involved creating a microsite, which launched at the end of January, to host retrospective content related to the show—including photos, audio, video—and house coverage of the event. I produced carousel items for the front page to advertise the microsite and the celebration as well. You can also see other editing, web production, podcasts and video I worked on at ESPN.

Front page: This carousel item features sound clips, video and photos from the anniversary broadcast in addition to a link to the microsite.

Social gallery: I worked with web developers to set up a fan-powered social gallery, which I moderated, for the celebration. Fans could tweet, Instagram or submit Vines to the gallery starting on the day the microsite launched using the hashtag #MM15.

Remote broadcasts map: I also made an interactive Google map that allowed fans to view the places "Mike & Mike" has traveled during its time on air.

Video ranker: The microsite also includes a video ranker, which allowed fans to watch and rank 35 vignettes from the show.

 "MIKE & MIKE": #GOLICBUTTPHOTO

Co-hosts Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic made a bet on the outcome of the Northwestern-Notre Dame football game in November 2014. The Fighting Irish lost, so Golic attempted his version of the Kim Kardashian Paper Magazine cover photo and sang the Wildcats' fight song while wearing Northwestern coach and alumnus Pat Fitzgerald's jersey from his playing days on air. I spearheaded the digital treatment of Golic's payoff, including the reveal of the photo, promotion on the front page and a blog post on the "Mike & Mike" show page.
